Taxo

Features

Learn by rules. Train in one place. Sit the exam before it counts.

Taxo is the study app for the Unternehmerschein, the German IHK exam for taxi and Mietwagen. You do not memorise one wording. You learn the rule, then it comes back harder. Practice questions stay German, as they do on exam day.

Learn

Four stages per rule. Taxo plans the day.

Enter your exam date. Taxo spreads the 55 topics across the days until then, keeps the last week free for review and simulations, and puts exactly one next step at the top. You do not pick a topic. You do not search.

  • Four stages. True or false, fill in a word, match, then a scene from daily work. Right means one stage up. Wrong means back to stage one.
  • About six minutes. A lesson has five questions, each with an explanation. It counts from 60 percent right, three of five.
  • Eleven areas as a city map. Each area ends with a calculation stop and an area exam. The whole first area, law and regulation, is free. The rest is Taxo Plus.
  • Read aloud. Every theory chapter, every question and every explanation. One tap on the speaker.
  • Plain German. Short sentences. The exam language stays. The explanation next to it does not sound like an authority letter.
Mein Ziel in the app. This week 4 of 49 stops, no names and no places.
Error notebook in the app. Three missed rules, exam weight, and the button to work through them together.

Training

Everything in one tab. Practice never runs ahead.

  • Error notebook. What went wrong appears once, sorted by exam weight. A rule leaves only when you get it right on two different days.
  • Flashcards. Six rules learned means six cards, not ten.
  • Calculation. 129 tasks in the calculation area. Across the app, over 370 input tasks, over 240 with a step-by-step path. Plus costing cases and formulas.
  • Key points. Over 2,000 open questions, as in the written exam. You answer in notes, then uncover the model answer.

No league and no leaderboard. In Mein Ziel you see others with an exam date in the same month as a distribution, without names and without places.

Your federal state

The written paper is the same. Your tariff is not.

Licensing authority, taxi tariff, taxi regulations and the oral exam differ by Land. Choose yours and your path gets its own extra section, 52 to 64 questions, with the numbers that apply where you sit the exam.

Prices

Free to start. Plus when you want the rest.

The full first area is free, with all lessons, the calculation stop and the area exam, plus all theory, 20 practice questions a day and one exam simulation a week. Taxo Plus opens all 55 topics. 29,99 € once and yours to keep, or 9,99 € a month, cancel in the store. The price in the App Store is the one that counts.
